Pasture Seeding
WildLands offers its agricultural experience, proven approaches and specialized equipment for cost-effective development of pastureland. We use high-quality seed that is locally-sourced native seed that is weed-free and adapted for successful germination on the site.
We install the seed via hydroseeding, drill seeding, broadcast seeding, and harrowing, tailoring the approach to the size and use for the pasture. Drill seeding is effective for larger pastures of 20 acres or more. Hydroseeding is an economical approach for seeding smaller pastures (1/4 to 5 acres); and with the mulch in the mixture, hydroseeding protects the seed from wind erosion. In addition to seeding, we offer ground-preparation services, including soil testing, weed control, tilling, plowing, discing, and leveling the soil.
